Riley Thomas Weber will reprise his role as The Rat King in Ballet Minnesota’s The Classic Nutcracker, December 18 – 20, 2015, at The O’Shaughnessy on the University of St. Catherine campus in St. Paul. Weber is currently a company member with Collide Theatrical Dance Company where he has danced lead roles in “Romeo and Juliet,” “Class of ‘85” and “Zoot Suit Riots.” A native of Fargo, ND, Weber moved to the Twin Cities to study dance and cello at the University of Minnesota.
“When I hear the word ‘nutcracker,’ I think of the magic of my childhood,” said Weber. “’The Nutcracker ‘ is actually the first book I ever read as a child, the first ballet I ever saw and the first ballet I danced in.””
