Apprentice: Gretchen Gerlach
Gretchen joined the Classical Ballet Academy of Minnesota as a level 3 student in 2009. She has danced in the classics ‘Sleeping Beauty’, ‘Coppelia’, ‘Les Sylphides’ and ‘Giselle’ restaged by Cheryl Rist for Ballet Minnesota. She has also danced in other original works by Andrew Rist including: ‘Black Dog Cafe’, ‘Ballet School’, ‘Nightmare’, ‘At The Museum’, ‘Morning in Beijing’, and original versions of ‘Cinderella’ and ‘Nutcracker.’ Gretchen was made an apprentice to Ballet Minnesota in spring of 2015, and hopes to continue her dance studies in college.
